- We paid over $2,000 Land Transfer taxes on the home we bought this year. Way too much when added on other unexpected fees for closure. Had we known this ahead of time, it's doubtful that we would have bought another home.
Land Transfer tax on top of the increases for property taxes in the North End is a pocket breaker and highly unfair for those of us who are on a budget.
